I typically print on Orajet 3651. 2.5 mil

You would need to experiment with your clear to see if it has a reaction.

I don't like to be noticed. Many years ago, I came out of a diner and found two tires cut. I had vanity plates at the time and a car that stood out from the crowd. I imagined I pissed someone off, he spotted the car by the diner and in a cowardly way got even. So I've laid low ever since.

Somewhat related. My kids have wanting me to put school magnets on the back of my vehicles. A few fell off or were stolen. Well, the 2016 Expedition ended that drama. The aluminum tailgate won’t take magnets.
