2003 2wd 5.4 expedition. Inside of all 4 tires are worn excessively. Also around 70+ mph there is vibration felt through the steering wheel. All I could tell for sure when it was jacked up was the drivers upper ball joint (control arm) has a lot of play. But would that cause the same wear on all 4 tires?

The worn out ball joint can definitely be the cause of your vibration. As for the tire wear on all 4 corners... worn out suspension perhaps (shocks/springs). Do the tires all look like they're tilted in at the tops when looking down the side of the truck?

Yeah, even one ball joint can throw the whole thing out of whack. Jack it up, see if any of them have play
