5 kids in this tough economy, God bless you Henry! As you know I come from a family of 9. But that was 60 plus years ago, it's so much tougher nowadays! I remember my mom going shopping with me and my younger sister and older brother, and getting 5 bags of groceries for $40.00. That was for 6 then. Nowadays that's $200.00 easy! Good man, hope we get the wife's kiddy wagon going right again! Moose.

My dad had 16 brothers and sisters making 17 total kids that lived. Two additional births died at birth. Growing up it was just the way it was. Didn't think anything of it. We did however fill the small park each year for a family reunion. The were self supporting on a small farm in MO. Most died of heart attacks before 60. You should see the look on the DR's faces when I give a family history.

Well for one its state law to have her in a child seat or booster seat depending on her weight, (she's still under 60 lbs so she has to stay in the car seat until then, booster seats are for 60-80lbs) but a more stringent law regarding this is "Mama's law" lol whatever keeps her happy and at ease I do

Well, I'm not far behind you. Next month I'll have 4 under 4. So I hear yeah on the car seats. I'll be battling them prolly till the kids are 8 yo. I'm hoping the Expy will last me at least that long.

Does a 5yo in a 3rd row seat even warrant a child seat?

Cant see how the heck that is safer. Front seat and airbag nonsense, maybe, but what exactly does the child seat add in a 3rd row seat for a non-infant/non-toddler?

In Ohio it used to be kids in car seats till 4 yrs and 40 lbs. But yrs ago they pretty much dbl the rules.

What about getting rear ended? A child has to be in a seat. Growing up we used to slide around or flew forward when brakes were slammed on. We had one of the early 1950's power brakes from GM. They weren't very smooth, it was like barely touch the brakes and you were skidding or grabbing. Kids seats would have been nice.

Not sure if you got this issue corrected yet, but I remember my brother-in-law had an issue with my sister's mustang. The issue appeared to be alt./ bat. low and the car wouldn't stay running for more than a few seconds. It turned out to be a battery in the key! They tried using their backup key and the car fired right up and stayed running.

Just a thought - hope this helps someone!!

Will thanks for the response but I did get it figured out (fuel pump relay), I've heard about the situation you're talking about, can you imagine the nightmare of trying to troubleshoot a car that has that problem with the owner having only one key!

Rich-ish country, can't say all's well and good exactly, but we got all the major non-STD infectious diseases under control, and while our police is mostly kinda useless, it does at least take violence against children seriously for the most part

Ok so it is confirmed the honda odyssey Is 100% fixed. Thanks to all the responses and help everyone her added and chimed in for coughSTAMPcaugh but knowing my luck this car is behaving like a ford made product and its throwing misfire codes on start ups but I know exactly why so this weekend I'll be spending my free time doing a gay ass valve adjustment on it. Estimated time of labor is 4-8 hour of misery

I'm glad you got the Honda fixed but still can't get over the $200 tip. I'll bet that's the greatest tip he ever got by far. What I don't understand is how can afford to give that tip and your wife is still driving a 2003 and not complaining. I could never get away with that. Take care.

She gets a hefty "allowance" every week, if she wants to buy a car she can but the payments come out of her allowance.... in short she doesn't want payments lol.

The enterprise kid (estimated 22-25yo) saved a huge headache and bought me time to make the 5.5 hours drive back home bearable without my wife calling me panicking how to install car seats in 100 degree weather and I sure in hell wasnt gonna even get started on teaching her how to install 3 in the same row... had I had more cash I would've tipped him more
