I appreciate when folks say thanks for your service, although its not required.
I appreciate the people who are medics, emts, firefighters, game wardens and police officers. THANK YOU

I did not join the navy initially because of an overwhelmingly love of country(i really like being in the greatest country in the world), I was selfish I did it for ME, i enjoy helicopters and the navy provided my path to continue a career with these machines, then it turned out after a few years that I loved being in the Navy and part of a great canoe club. Worked with a few dipsticks that only were able to get in the way, and I also worked with some freaking really great people, of whom i will never forget. Military life can be TOUGH, SAD, SUCKY, FUN and Hilarious all in the same five minutes. War sucks, loosing friends sucks even more. But i would not change one path i choose in my life.

So I guess it's safe to say you are there just for the money? or do you have a drinking and typing problem? Because the attitude you display for the world to see on here would not go over good at work and is not a good attitude for a first responder to have.
Just saying what everyone is thinking.

P S glad I don't live in Virginia Beach anymore but my ex-wife lives there and she said your truck is a steaming POS.
Oh yeah where abouts?

Bless you guys...truly. Growing up when I did, many folks went North to escape their service....I didn't want to be drafted but I wasn't going to run...or volunteer because I hated being told what to do. I never forgot though that it was you guys who made my choice even possible for me.

So as "Bobcat"(I actually met him 7 years ago) once said....While some of you guys were parading around the paddies of some jungle country, I was getting high, getting laid, eating Capt Crunch cereal and listening to GD Beatles albums!

Thanks to all....
