If you guys say so. Its highly plausible that gm wont raise the price on their brand new from the ground up money maker suv. Just saying a 20 silverado high country with no options is 61k, the brand new tahoe that comes with tech not even available to the silverado will only be 4k more is wishful thinkin lol. If i can remember right, the 17 expy plat was around 65k to start. Then the 18s came out, weighing less with more power...

GM is out selling the Expedition 2-1. Price must be a big factor.

It could be, but that really hasnt changed since the expys 2nd gen. Since 07, the gms have pretty much always been more pricey but thats never stopped it from handily outsellin ford though the expy was arguably the better product. Also, even though the 4th gen price creep was steep, purchase percentages have increased substantially for the expy as well. Honestly, the only thing holdin the 4th gen back is lack of engine choice, which gm obviously knows and intelligently exploited.

They will. But they’d need to raise it 30%+ to get to the numbers you were talking about.

Also...A 2020 Silverado high country with 6.2l is $57k.

I added the pkg to give it adaptive cruise since itll be std on the suv. Tahoe b&p has 6.2l starting at 69k no discounts in premier trim 2wd. Just a five percent increase is 72k. And because theres no reference pt for the high country as theres no high country for tahoe, ill use traverse. The hc is a 13% increase from the premier trim. If you use that same increase in price for the 20 model, the hc for tahoe in 2wd form is 77k. Im not sayin anyone is wrong as we dnt know, theres never been a hc for tahoe. Just sayin noone thought the the expy price creep would be steep, but the 4th gen plat trim recieved a 13% increase from the 17 yr as well and everybody was up in arms. Gm sells their suvs for almost 75k - 80k now without the new trim, and now they lockin the big engine to only the new higher trim.

Did y’all see that they are advertising more cargo space behind the first row seats in the Tahoe than the expedition max. Not sure how that’s possible. The suburban cargo space numbers make the expedition max look laughable.

The current 4th gen Expedition has the lowest cargo capacity the Expedition has ever had

Gm figured out how to increase the height of their cargo bay, the biggest difference really is how tall the cargo bay is. I doubt there would be much difference in terms in cargo width or length though. But good for gm, now fords gonna be on their toes because they are gonna need figure this one out.

I highly doubt we’ll see a $95k Tahoe. Maybe you’re right. But I doubt it. I don’t think they’ll even be close.
