Power Stops are supposed to be nice. I cheaped out and just did some slotted and drilled rotors with standard pads, all from Detroit Axle. And I have only installed the front and it already feels like I lost half the weight of my EL. The difference is amazing. I regularly do 5000 ft of decline over about 15 miles and could really feel the fade with standard rotors and pads. Now it’s gone. I feel like I’m driving a sedan now in comparison.

Got everything on and looking pretty good. While I was down there I inspected everything, no immediate issues which is great news. Treated the expy to a new fuel filter, air filter, fresh mobil 1 10-30 oil change w a Motorcraft filter and cleaned the maf and airbox out. It was a bit dusty in there. Probably 20k on that filter. Stepped it up to a little nicer filter, only a couple dollars extra.

Looking forward to no scheduled maintenance until spring aside from an oil change and a new set if rubber this winter. Fingers crossed!

I'm about to put the K557736 on my 2015. Is there anything unusual about doing a brake job on the Expedition?

You'll need a 7mm Allen wrench.

I've definitely never seen sliders like that before! What's the trick to replacing the bushing for the rear slider? I'm not having any luck getting it pressed in without ripping the rubber.

I had to summon the power of Thor to get those new bushings on. It was a total *****, never tore them, but it was a fight. What tool were you using that tore it?
