What is the deal with the right rear turn signal? I've had my truck almost 6 years, and had to replace the bulb in the RR turn signal 4 times.

Never had to change any others - just the RR.

I'm installing LED's to see if that lasts any longer but it's curious that it's just the right rear.

Poor ground or Chinese-auto-part-store light bulbs.

Remember that there are regular, long life and halogen bulbs. Each has very different life spans.

Sylvania, until I replaced them today with LEDs...And while all four signals still work, when I signal left I get a quick flashing...interestingly, when I installed the right signal, I got a couple of quick flashes then it settled down to normal, not sure why that happened, or why it didn't happen to the left.

And I used dielectric grease.

Also those plastic 'wall anchor' inserts for the housing screws are pretty cheap. I need to see if regular drywall type will fit, or if I need to order the OEM nonsense.

Not sure what year of truck you have but had a Ford van that did the same thing, found there was water getting into it. If this is the problem you should be able to find evidence of water in lens.

My expedition doesn't have this issue, but have a Sonata that does. It is clean and dry, use dielectric grease, good bulbs, and replace the passenger side every year. Had a GMC van with crappy bulb sockets that did it till I replaced the actual sockets. For the Sonata, just keep a couple spares in the glove box and when I see it out, change it...

It's a '15 and no evidence of water.
