A few weeks ago I was driving, and my '15 Expy with 90k miles started misbehaving - CEL, no power etc...

So, I coasted into a parking space, shut the engine down, and after a bit tried starting it up - started, ran OK for a minute or two, but no power when I tried to drive....

Shut it down and started cancelling appointments for the day, getting coverage at work etc.

Before I called for a tow, I started it up again, and was able to drive - with the CEL and MIL illuminated...just a few blocks from home, still under extended warranty, etc. When I got home I got out my ODB-II scanner and it said P2112, and the TSB for it said replace the ATB.

Well, OK. $135 for an OEM ATB at Rock Auto, $4 for the gasket....Checked YT and it doesn't look that hard. So, I cleared the code.

Now, the error has not reappeared. Not sure if that is good, or not.....

Suggestions or comments?

Did the CEL flash and then stay on? Could be oily fluid in your intercooler getting sucked into the throttle body, might just need cleaning and get the fluid out of the intercooler somehow. The 15's had more of an issue with condensation in the intercooler, was supposed to be somewhat corrected on 16 and up.

Could be, I haven't been driving it much at all lately (haven't bought gas since Feb)..

I'll try cleaning it out. Thanks!

Any luck? I'm betting fresh gas and cleaning the throttle body solve most of this. Good luck!
