Hi guys, I was looking to replace the speakers on my expy, a 2012 limited, would I be able to fit 6x9s in the speaker hole as it supports only 6x8s, has anyone done it? thanks.

u will have to make fabrications to make 6x9 fit...5x7 and 6x8 will be direct fits but you have to be careful still for back spacing for the magnet...you can make anything fit if it's custom

There are a few adapters out there that may work. They say they are for F-150. Focal makes 2 different models for Ford, a coaxial as well as a component set that look like a direct fit. They are a bit pricey at over $300.

F-150 adapters wont work with our trucks...doors have different backspacing in them...already tried that years ago
