    Poll about 5.4l V8 and mileage

    1998 eddie bauer faded laser red no rust or body damage 5.4l original everything, i beleive i need new vac lines and i need to bleed brakes, other then that nothing bad.

    you can install a newer 5.4l expedition motor in a first gen, i have a friend that did aswell. but youll need the matching pcm, trans, engine and harness. not really worth it. you have a problem beyond plug and injector you mentioned you had a tune? could be a problem with taht. your best...

    i believe if the maniflod is aluminum its an NPI head plastic is PI i might be wrong. i thought ford didnt use the PI head until 2000?

    trust me none of you would want the 5.0 in the expedition. i have a 2011 f150 with the 5.0. i miss my 5.4 3v, talk about a high strung motor!

    p0300 random misfire?

    my 98 5.4 is throwing a code p0300 lean on bank 1. engine misfires but does not stall out rough idle any help thanks. vacuum leak? egr?
