UPDATE! The Hood and Liftgate were replaced, 100% free of charge to me. I worked through my local Ford dealership and did not have to make a big fuss about it. They looked at it and determined it was perforated enough to warrant a replacement. Also, Ford may have extended the time-frame...- 4Wolves

Bubbling Paint
Bubbling paint has been an issue for generations on the Expeditions. I had a 2006 and the liftgate paint bubbled. I now have a 2016 and the liftgate is experiencing the same problem. Seems to be a well known issue from what I've read. Why hasn't Ford fixed this yet? Expeditions aren't cheap...- 4Wolves

bubbling paint on liftgate?
I have an 06 White Eddie Bauer and am going thru the bubbling paint problem both on the hood and the liftgate areas. Its an 06 with 57k miles on it. I've taken it to the local dealer and argued 3 different times that it should not be happening on a 4 yr old vehicle, but Ford has refused to fix...- 4Wolves
