front diff operation
Yea if you don't have the 2wd option on your switch it's always engaged. I didn't notice you had a 99. I believe only 97-98 had that.- 5starChad

This is correct. The solenoids are on the passenger side firewall above the ECU.- 5starChad

You are the man! I really appreciate that. I thought they were but didn't want to waste the money if not. I'll be painting it with SEM interior paint to match anyway. Never even though about the tweeter thing. That's not a bad idea. I wish we had a stock spot for separate tweeters.- 5starChad

A pillar
You're obviously assuming I'm talking about a pod that just attaches to the pillars. This is a complete replacement pillar with the pods built into it so YES I do need to know if they are the same. Stop calling me stupid when you don't know what you're talking about. If you can't be helpful...- 5starChad

A pillar
Anyone know if the a pillar for the expy is the same as in the f150? I'm trying to order a gauge pod to house the boost and wideband gauges but nothing is listed for an 01 Expedition. There are some options under the 97-02 f150 listing. If it's the same that would be great as Lotek has a nice 2...- 5starChad

Gauge cluster question
Okay well just talked to the guy selling it and he says the gear selector snaps in the bottom on the lightning the same as the HD it's just got that cover over it that makes it look like it. So question still stands. Will the odo work?- 5starChad

Well never mind. Been so long since I've even looked at the Expy cluster I just noticed the Expy has a cutout that the shift selector snaps into and the Lightning cluster does not. The Harley Davidson cluster does have the same snap in selector cutout but I don't want to have a cluster with the...- 5starChad

1997 Expedition to 2002 Lightning Swap
The interior and cluster harnesses have nothing to do with it. They are completely separate. You'll definitely want the ECU from a 2wd since you switched to that. I believe the 4.6 harness is the same as the 5.4 harness but to be safe go ahead and get the harness too. You'll need to extend some...- 5starChad

Lightning swap fuel pump
So I got my Lightning motor installed last night and have started buttoning everything up. Still need some parts and the tune. Ready to get the fuel pump ordered and taken care of. Gonna go with a single Walbro 255lph as it is just a stock Lightning setup. Question is what part # "install kit"...- 5starChad

IAT sensor wiring
Could anyone please let me know what color wires are to the IAT sensor in the intake tube and which side of the connector they go to? That or taking a picture of the connector may be easier. 5.4 motor.- 5starChad

Any chance we could get some dimensions of the panhard bar or maybe the guy who made yours could make more. Maybe a little mini run if enough people were interested. Really want to run the TA cover as a lot of the others leave something to be desired but dont really know any shops around here...- 5starChad
