    Need 2nd cam replacement after 27k on them (91k on vehicle). Ford won’t cover. Cost is $2910. Normally I shop around I use 3 shops (one fully independent, one large National chain, and Ford service.) Would you trust someone other than Ford to replace them?

    So check this out...I went and looked at the software in my 19 and it's running 3.0, not 3.4. Now here's the problem...CyanLabs updates are only for Windows, which I don't have access to. Any tips on moving from 3.0 to 3.4? Funny thing is Ford says I'm "updated" (but shows 3.0 Build 20204)...

    It’s my understanding that the cam phaser repair is handled as a warranty extension, regardless of mileage. My 19 has 64.5k on her, and shes in the shop for the next 2 weeks getting cam phasers replaced. She’s WAY out of warranty, and I do not have an extended warranty either.
