Thanks guys. Today is my only day off so i better get crackin on this. Im going to try and have it done asap, so i dont have to keep driving my diesel. Id love to pull the trans and run the engine to make sure it was ok, but i dont know if its possible. Id have to jump out the neutral safety...- Andy J

Any recommendations on a converter yall have used? The only converters i have bought have been fully built ones for ford diesels and my silverado back in the day. I dont need a fully built one, just one a bit better then stock, possibly furnace brazed.- Andy J

Lol i know. I was happy with the fact that i had gotten everything fixed except the seat heaters/coolers. That was my last remaining issue. I even rewarded the truck with a full sound system. Im just hoping its the flexplate, but i am probably going to buy a new converter also. I dunno lol.- Andy J

Hey guys, I bought a new kenwood double din head unit for my 03 navigator because i need to have the hands free function, and i figured why not upgrade while im at it. Thats a sweet setup. Ill definitely consider them if im in the motor again. What id really.like to do it get a hold of one of the old school kenne bell supercharger kits they made for these. Id love to have one of those under the hood.- Andy J

I was previously a ford heavy line mechanic, but this is my firsr 32v modular build. I was kinda of out of my confort zone at first with the quad cam setup, but once those are out of the way its just like one of the 16v's ive done before. Well...i made major headway. I loosely bolted the egr tube onto the manifold. I left it loose so that i could line it up with its port on the bottom of the upper manifold. Got started this morning. I got the wiring harness stretched out and nested where it needed to go. I had to do a wiring repair on the knock sensor as it looked like it either cracked from heat or some creature chewed it. Anyway, i got it fixed.
