Changing factory amp?
I agree you will need to swap both the amp and the sub, if you are going to use an aftermarket amplifier that is rated more than 150W you will need to run larger power wire to support the larger current draw- audioguy

06 Exp. XLT "aux" input?
Isimple makes an adapter that will work for your ipod or anything with a head phone jack. you can get it at best buy, parts and install for 200- audioguy

stock navi headunit/speakers..not loud enuff!!
I am a huge fan of the infinity speakers, they are very very clean and clear. they also have a high sensitivity so they will get louder off of the stock radio power.- audioguy

New owner, I have some questions
Yea I noticed a big difference with the shocks! I have only had this expy for a week and plan on taking it on a road trip the end of this month, is there anything that I should check besides the usual (oil, trans fluid, ect.). yea most of the speakers you buy aftermarket will fit both 5x7 and 6x8, there are different mounting holes in the speaker itself. they also make speaker wire adapters so you don't have to cut anything or figure out which one is positive and negative- audioguy

I would swap out the speakers first for something that is more efficient, I am a big fan of the infinity 5x7/6x8 speakers. you can get them at best buy for around 99 a pair. if you want more after that put a four channel amp to them that will do the trick. Alpine came out with a small four...- audioguy

New owner, I have some questions
I just picked up a 99 4x4 EB Expedition 5.4L and I just had a few questions about it. The steering is very very sensitive, especially at freeway speeds. If I hit any bump on the road it pulls me around. I just put new Rancho 5000 shocks, new tires, balanced, alignment and checked all of the ball...- audioguy

Does turning up the bass kill the amp?
you can blow your amp if you have the bass up to high especially on the long low frequency notes, the low notes require more power (larger duty cycle) and can cause your amp to overheat.
