On the gen 2 models it is easy to loose the main feed wire to the BCM. It runs behind the battery towards the firewall and can fall behind the plastic battery box. Can you post a picture of the battery cables?
So you had two codes for bank 1 sensor 2, P0420 and P2270. How did you know you had a new code if P0420 is always there? If you clear them how long until the light comes back on? Is your exhaust how it came from the factory? Does it have two cats on each side?
