I have never taken any vehicle that did not have a limited slip rear off road. As a software engineer i find it disconcerting that software is supposed to help me better control my traction where roads are optional than a mechanical option.- Beodricht

Which is better for off-roading with the 2nd Gen Expedition? I can see the advantages to traction control for unexperienced drivers in snow, but from what I can tell it turns a 3 wheel drive 4X4 into a 2 wheel drive 4X4. Hmmm. It would seem I have the advance trac system. Does such a system remove the limited slip rear diff, or it is possible to have both? Without opening the differential, what is the easiest way to tell, if both are possible.- Beodricht
