    I haven't had a chance to look into this yet, but I wanted to get some thoughts. Seems to me if it's only bank 1 and not both, it's probably not fuel filter or fpr related correct? I'm thinking I should be looking for a bad injector. Runs like it's misfiring, but no blinking light or misfire...

    Well, I'm on the Ford Expedition forum so that answers two questions. What difference could engine possibly make to my problem? And if there's any difference in the gas tank from 1997-2002 (which I doubt), it's a 99.

    So for anyone coming upon this thread in the future, Tonyray's suggestion is the way to go. Even on my midwest rust bucket, the hose clamp on the fill hose was easy to get off and it's the simplest way to siphon out the tank.

    Frozen/Stuck hood release. HELP!

    Another thing to try is have someone push down on the hood then try pulling the release. Worked on mine and then lubed everything up. No problem since.

    How small do I need to go? The stuff on my siphon pump is only 1/2" od. I don't have a transmission jack.
