    That’s what is going on with everything. Manufacturers have complexified products to the extent that the items are not repairable. Access for repairs is almost nonexistent, the parts prices are sky high ($100.00 for a headlight bulb on a NAVIGATOR!)….It’s to the point where one buys an item...

    I have a 2003. Sane BS. Ford issued a TSB. That's it! Bottom line; Ford doesn't know how to paint Aluminum.

    It's now October 17, 2021. I had the same question, since I changed the plugs on the wife's '07 Navigator. It uses plugs with a 9/16" wrenching flat. I'm on my '03 and it looks like these are a 5/8" plug. I'm betting the 9/16" plugs came out with the '05, VCT engines. Not sure, but a guess...

    Wrong fluid in T-Case

    Definitely do not use MERCON V. It will eat up any plastic parts in the Transfer Case. I put ATF in my 2003 and 2004 XFER Cases.

    LOL !! No, I laid a potato truck over and broke my right shoulder. It was a crappy road and a guy who lives 1/4 mile from there said I was the 6th truck to go in 5 months. That did not make the damn thing any less painful, though.
