Door won't unlock so can't open to fix

The only other thing I can think of to try, would be to get a firm grip on the knob with a pair of vice grips and pull up (by hand, screwdriver or small pry bar) while working the handle to see if something is just snagged.

Door won't unlock so can't open to fix

Have you tried disabling the auto-locking mechanism by pulling the fuse?

    Cylinder 4 Misfire

It was only because the #5 plug was tight that allowed me to see what was going on. If it had come loose, I 'd of replaced that plug and thought that was the problem, and the same for #3. For any future mis-fires, I'll try just clearing out the well, checking the COP for corrosion and...

    Cylinder 4 Misfire

2010 EB, 175k miles. I've dealt with mis-fire codes in the last few weeks. First was #5. Swapped coils, no change. Started to replace the plug and couldn't break it loose and didn't want to break it. (I had a shop change them all @150k). Put the COP back to run it back to the shop and the...

    '07 multiple misfires

I'm looking at my original stock coils and the first show significant corrosion. I replaced them with unbranded eBay about 20k miles ago, and kept them for spares. It looks like they will clean up ok. I think I will clean up the rest of the OEMs and keep the seconds as backup. Fyi - There are...

    Front windshield washer not working

Just went through this where I could hear the pump run but no fluid to the front nozzles. Disconnected the hose and used my 12v air compressor to blow back to the reservoir. I noticed several pieces of crud floating about. Used the shop vac to empty, refilled with clean water and emptied again...

    Throttle body failure

I just replaced the throttle body on my 2010 EB. Really helped the vagueness and throttle response lag. The old one wasn't terribly dirty but I suspected the throttle position sensor anyway. The relearn procedure I used was the one in my owners manual that followed the battery maintenance...

Replaced pads and rotors, brake pedal sinking to floor now?!?

I had to replace my 2010 EB master cylinder a few months ago for this reason. Brakes worked normally with light pressure, but pedal went to the floor if I pressed more than moderately hard.

    drivers side window switch removal

The auto-up function is what failed on mine (manual up still worked), and the auto-down worked intermittently. When I compared the old switch to the new, the "break" between the manual and auto positions was crisp and positive on the new switch. The old switch felt vague, almost hard to tell the...

    drivers side window switch removal

It occurred to me that I may have misunderstood your question. If you are asking if the bezel holding the entire control switch group can be prised up as one piece, I don't remember specifically but I'm pretty sure it's held in with screws (can't find anything in the manual on it). The window...

    drivers side window switch removal

2010 EB - I replaced my master window switch last year and did have to remove the door panel to get to it. The problem is there are 4 tabs that lock the switch in and were pretty stiff to get loose. From the manual... Window Control Switch Removal and Installation NOTE: LF shown, all...

    Help with low power

Don't know if this F150 low power problem applies to your vehicle, but it might be worth a look inside/below the air filter. Some good talk on scan use also.

Help! New phone, no radio display

I'm going to try just re-melting the existing solder, rather than desoldering all those pins and resoldering with new. Hopefully, that will re-establish a good connection (if in fact that is the problem) I'm also interested in theJ-shaped ground spring he mentions. Poor grounds seem to be a...
