Front end rubbing/grinding noise
My '07 Expy XLT with 249k is starting to make a grinding rubbing noise up front. I suspect one of my hubs is going out but not sure. Never had issues but recently drove up the mountains in TN/NC I switched to 4(A) (road ice) and drove about 290 miles on it. It should not be an issue since 4(A)...- Bosco123

I currently own a 2007 Ford Expedition, there is a TSB Bulletin out for the 3rd generation expeditions in which the OEM Motorcraft plugs have been replaced with "1" piece design, also I own all the official Ford maintenance manuals for my 07 expy. Issues over 170K?
Ok, so its been awhile since I have been on here BUT Im back and ready for business. First post! Has anyone gone over the 170K threshold on a 3rd Gen Expy and if so how are things working so far? As for me I am at about 177k on a 2007 Expy XLT 4x4, and I have had no major issues or dissapoints...- Bosco123

Ok, so Im late too the dance. Changing your spark plugs on the 3rd Gens is easy. Changed mine and replaced them woth Champion double plats. I too was worried about the two piece design seems though that ford fixed that flaw by making a single piece Motorcraft plug. If you need any guidance let...- Bosco123

Thanks for the warm and fuzzy, by the way I replaced my top of the line motor craft spark plugs with champions dual platinum 7989 plugs and bwd ignition coils. I feel the difference alread, I've driven about 50 miles on them so far the engine is very responsive is purring just fine.- Bosco123

Have an '07 XLT 4x4 144,000 on it, recently had hvac line explode over cyclinders 1-4 causing cyclinder 3 misfire.
