22x10s w/off-road tires?????
Just upgraded my 06 with these rims from a Harley Davidson F150. They bolt right up, 12" wide. I don't think I'd go off road with them right now. 305/40/22 is the same circumference as stock so sidewall is definitely lacking. I would want to be at a 35" tire for any serious offroading, and...- Brandon K

Five Star SCT TSX REVIEW
I loaded up the 87 performance tune yesterday and went for a spin. Truck was jumpy at the first few stops but it seems that the computer adjusted and smoothed out the pedal very quickly. Driving impressions are excellent. Shifts seem precise and much faster than before. Truck quickly...- Brandon K

Key fob replacement.
Yeah i went back and bought the OEM style, now the horn sounds like it should. Why is it important, because from 50 feet away the honk tells me it is locked.- Brandon K

Key fob replacement.
I tried these. They work fine EXCEPT for 2 big issues. The lift glass button is huge, and right in the center. Meaning you will constantly unlock it without knowing. Second, and this is huge to me. Pressing the lock button twice will NOT sound the horn!!!- Brandon K

Ford V10 and Expeditions
Do it....:popcorn: Actually that would probably be a fairly cheap swap, those V10s are everywhere and not highly desired. Then again for the cost you can get a nice Excursion V10 and call it good.- Brandon K

Big Brake Kit
When you change the brakes I'll buy the stock calipers and mounting brackets off of you. 07 and up apparently have bigger rotors and calipers than my 06 so I'm exploring if that would be a super cheap big brake kit for the 2nd gen. If the calipers can bolt up ill get some fancy 07+ slotted...- Brandon K

Yes but its far more interesting to think about if I could, rather than debate about if i should. Also I know the truck was used for towing some kind of camper trailer so I can assume the brakes have been worn more and may need a change sooner than your quite impressive 170K miles.- Brandon K

07 got bigger brakes...swap to 06?
New member. Just got a sweet, 77k miles, 2006 Limited. So probably a question that has been asked before but the search did not bring it up.
