    ForScan Tweaks - 2015+

Good one, MikePA. Next time I pull the center for some reason I'll install one. I see that for 20-21's we have to use the harness type. Thanks!

    ForScan Tweaks - 2015+

Quick question regarding this damn auto start/stop: If turned off via Forscan, it actually shuts down the BMS (Battery Monitoring System), which in turn disables auto start/stop! Now it certainly keeps your engine from stalling at all the stoplights, but here's the problem: With BMS offline...

    ForScan Tweaks - 2015+

My 2c after modding my 2020 KR (Expedition) with Forscan. Here's the shortcut/simple way to use Forscan to it's full potential. Hope you like it! *** I use an Apple Mac / MacOS, no you don't have to go buy a PC *** --- Mac stuff for you Unix gurus -- I'm using a MAC (yes an Apple) with...

    2020 Expedition occasionally doesn't start

It could well be the brake switch. There was a SB about this on certain Mercedes models that ran for years. Setting off the CE light, SRS light etc was also on the list. All for a $10.00 brake pedal switch

What do the logs say? I'm REALLY curious about this one

    2022 Expy announced

I'd imagine they made a few ICU mapping changes to get those few extra horses, but if it's not basically the same motor I'd be awfully surprised. Changing valve timing for increased compression may require use of 93 octane, a common practice in European cars to get another 20 horses

    2022 Expy announced

Great 15" display with lots of good information, but although they tried, they just couldn't find a spot for it. I was hoping it wouldn't turn out like this, perhaps all they did was stick a 15" Android Pad up there the best they could with double stick tape. The smaller display in landscape...

    Unknown leaking in 2021 expedition

I'd bet on the evaporator drains are clogged. Seats are probably wicking up the [cold] water. *If* I'm right, this should be a real easy/cheap fix. Good luck!

To Sell or not to Sell...

Your bet, FC. The two on the table have since faded; they knew a few months ago I would have considered it. Both were referred by the dealer as a favor as we had joked around about it. If it comes up again, I'll ping you for sure. BTW - after fees, taxes, allowances, etc are you really sure...

To Sell or not to Sell...

Well I read back in this thread a few hours and it looks like the war dept won out lol. Like I said I'd delist it and keep it, but only if you can stand to deal with Ford. Sounds like if just a few annoying issues were resolved, you'd have one *******' truck that's worth close to it's new...

    2022 Expy Preview

PB I agree with the truck vs auto thoughts. The 2022 main display screen as shown in the previews is an eyesore. Mercedes did this with several of their C and E classes early on because to do otherwise would have meant serious dash redesign and ergonomics, which take time and $$. They've all...

To Sell or not to Sell...

My 2020 KR stickered for better than $81k, and I wouldn't sell it for 2 offers I've had in excess of 6 figures with just 2k miles so far. It left the factory in October of 2019, and a month after that I was one of the first to catch Covid myself (yes, airline pilots can get it too). After...
