Low Compression on Cylinders 2 and 4

2010 Ford Expedition 5.4 3v - My mechanic (Christian Bros Automotive) just told me that he did a power balance test on my engine and it shows that cylinders 2 and 4 have very low compression. He said that it is either a cylinder leak, a cracked head, or a cracked engine block. He recommends a...

    Issue with power mirrors -memory

I'm just curious if you ever resolved this issue? If so, how did you do it? I'm having the same error on my Expedition. Thanks!

    DTC P2098

Follow up: I disconnected the battery for a few hours and then cleared the DTC codes using Forscan. The P2098 code went away and hasn't returned. I will say that I forgot to disconnect the battery while replacing the O2 sensors so its like it didn't register that it had new sensors. I'm not a...

    DTC P2098

My check engine light came on recently and it indicated a problem with an O2 sensor. So I replaced all 4 O2 sensors. My 2010 Expedition has 184,000 miles on it, so I figured while I was under there, I would just change them all. The check engine light went away and it drove without issue for...

Driver side AC not working, changed blend actuator not fixed now what?

I'm just curious if you were able to resolve this issue? I have the same problem but haven't fixed it yet. I found this post with a lot of good information about all of the actuator locations. https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/actuator-blend-door-lessons-learned-front-and-rear.53171/

    New ac compressor

I know this was last year, but I'm curious what resolved the issue for you? I did notice that mine takes 36 oz of freon, not 54 oz. I know that the receiver/dryer in the condenser coil can clog after replacing the compressor. So, had I seen this post last year, I would've recommended replacing...

    AC Compressor Replacement

I just had to do this last weekend (twice). It's not a hard or time consuming job - and I'm no mechanic. (To do it, I used the loaner tool program at AutoZone to borrow a gauge set and vacuum pump. I know you said you have all the necessary tools, but I wanted to add that for others who might...

    A warning…

I'm getting ready to replace the timing chain components. I'm curious if you got to install these tensioners and if they worked out well? Did you upgrade your oil pump as well? Any other information you can share before I purchase all the parts? Thanks!

    Key FOB Replacement

Thanks for your reply. I had thought about doing that but don't think it would hold for very long and I wouldn't be able to change the battery.

    Key FOB Replacement

I have the two original keys for my 2010 Expedition Limited. They both work but are starting to come apart and I need to get replacements. So far, everything I can find seems to be around $200 each. Have any of you found a less expensive way to replace one of the keys/FOBs?

Rough shifting transmission when stopping and starting.

No. It's not something that I even considered as the issue. I was already planning to change the plugs in the next few months, so I guess I will make that a priority. Thanks for this tip.

Rough shifting transmission when stopping and starting.

    Ok. I'll give that a double-check. Thanks

Rough shifting transmission when stopping and starting.

Are you referring to an ignition coil? I'm not sure which part you mean. Thanks for your response.
