Well if. It were to be your right exhaust manifold you would lose power. Were you? Remember a Ford dealer will try and get the most out of you.when I had that problem when I would stop at a light I would hear a knocking noise from underneath the unit. And while at high speeds. Did you verify if it is coming from underneath it. If so I had the same problem and found out it to be my cat converter with the honeycomb inside knocking cause it was bad. Could give that a look.- chatz expoking
