    I don’t think I ever tried that until just now, but no. I used the buttons to lock and unlock, and placing the key in the backup/programming slot will allow the car to start. However, walking up to the car with the programmed generic key will not unlock via the proximity feature.

    I think Ford shut it down with Captcha and/or IP filtering. If you hit it a few times in a row, you get a Captcha picture to prove you’re not a robot or a really useful tool used by tons of Ford customers. But it’s okay, Ford will keep us all up to date with their emails :rolleyes:
