DFor the remaining $3620 I’d learn fast on how to swap turbos. I drove many turbo’d cars and trucks. Never had a turbo problem as such.

DJust the turbocharger is about $380 from Levittown Ford Parts. I'd ask your shop what's involved in the remaining $3620.
