    Howdy folks. My girl has an '98 Eddie Bauer Expedition 4WD and needs to replace the starter. I do not know the cubic displacement of the engine and can not find any identification under the hood.....Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Doug.

    Thanks Tony, will try. I did run her down the road a bit, stopped and ran her in reverse to see if she would disengage, but to no avail. I will try your suggestion and re post. Thanks, Doug.

    Gentlemen, I have '98 Expedition E B Edition. Is My girls truck. She engaged truck into 4 low at a dead stop, proceed to drive, heard a loud "clunk" (lol) in transfer case region and now lo and behold truck is stuck in 4 low...any ideas ? Thanks.
