I think you are right because the ride height seems to be fairly level now with it off and when it's on it is jacked up like a 60's car with shackles on the rear leafs. OK....I read the owner’s manual and it wasn’t much help...it’s like ¾” thick....but there was some clues about the suspension. So I decided to do some experimentation. Thanks guys...I will report back what I find. I am looking at a replacement kit with coil-overs, but maybe it might be handy to keep if it works right.- Doug81

New here and first post. I just bought a 2010 Navigator with 70k miles. It has the air ride suspension and 20" stock wheels. We live out in the country so lots of RR crossings and wash board gravel roads. It seems the rear end bounces around too much at times. Like a basketball and usually...- Doug81
