There is no difference in powertrain options in the TimberLine between one with HD towing and one w/out. I went to a dealer I use to work at and looked at both build sheets, one with and one w/out “mine”. I have the 15” screen and the trailer section I took it to ford to have it programmed. The computer sees the TBC but ford dealership doesn’t have the Forscan update yet- DougBriley

So, I got the Trailer Pro Steering components today. As I suspected, the second plug on the factory trailer break pig tail does in fact plug into the Pro Steering. As per my other posts, I have already installed the TBC components. I will install these new parts tomorrow and I will up date on...- DougBriley

I’m waiting on a part at the moment. The computer sees the TBC but it’s not working. Soon as I get the pro steering controller in and see if that where the second plug goes I’ll up date y’all.- DougBriley

I would agree, however, there is a second plug I believe it plugs into the pro backing. It might need it to complete the circuit.- DougBriley

I’m going to install the pro backing parts “dash”, and look under the dash to make sure the TBC brain is in fact installed. We might be at the mercy of ford at the moment but I going to press my dealership to lean on ford to figure it out- DougBriley
