what price did you pay for your expy?
97 XLT 4.6 4x4 white with gray leather, third row seats. 163K paid 800.00. Everything was in decent shape and working order. Except for the hole the size of my fist in the block. New Expy owner in WA
Welcome. New here myself. I also came from a Suburban to an Expedition. The sub was like driving a couch. The Expedition is like driving a fully enclosed F150 4x4 TRUCK. When they say 'Built FORD Tough", it wasn't for the escort.- drujones

exhaust in my '97
I'm just gonna say that if you were looking for something to do to your ride that was pretty cheap but makes a ton of difference, DO THE EXHAUST! I just had Flowmaster installed on the '97 4.6 4x4 and it went from grocery getter to TRUCK. I am happier now than ever with this ride.- drujones

Just back from the shop and, of course, the clunking sound from the right front was non existant to the mechanic. But, for 90.00 had the GEM module installed and am fully functional in the 4x4. Going back in the morning to have Flowmaster exhaust installed.- drujones

Pretty new Expedition owner in NC
Found these from when I first bought it in September. I have removed the running boards, ready for chrome tubes and added a chrome tube bull bar. The only thing I really don't like is the style of the rims. I wish it was easier to find mag/spoke rims that fit.- drujones
