Yes the white is the camera. I did play with positioning it between the bumper and the hitch receiver, but I didn't like the higher exposure to the elements along with it being a much higher risk for accidental breakage. How to replace the positive battery terminal on 1st gen Expedition (2002) without new cables
I did the OP meathod myself about 2 months ago on mine. I am curious though if anyone has experience/opinion on a style of connector that has the point that presses into the cable without needing to strip it? Seemed to have merit even though it would not be for me as I will be replacing again...- DWhitley

Considering Battery Modification
The other reason why is the production of hydrogen ga by the battery. Spark can ignite supposedly. If you look at the owners manuals the advise against using both posts for jumpstarting as well. Finally got through all my locks and latches. So far I ducked a bullet. All of them were minor issues. Thoroughly cleaned and lubricated them and now they work. One had a slightly bent rod that I had to adjust. 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition- DWhitley

2000 Eddie Bauer 5.4L
For doing diagnostics I picked up the Veepeak obd2 adapter cheap. Then paid for the app called Forscan. Allows full reading of the OBDII modules and most of the Can-bus as well.
