there is definitely a noise coming from the valve train, just checked everything out and I have a clogged pick up tube... not as bad as I had originally thought... checked for scoring in my bottom end and I think it is all good. Now I'm just waiting on my local parts store to get a new tube and...
finally got it back yesterday... after several months in the shop. the PATS module was bad, got it swapped out and fired right up.
Now... got it home and as I was pulling it in the driveway the oil pressure bottomed out and it is still full of oil... I think I'm about to just call it quits...
I think I'm going to give up on ol bessie... the shop is just giving me the run around... and I'm running out of money to give them to just have them throw parts at it...
I believe it is somewhere in the wiring to the PCM, every time this has happened it has shorted out the PCM to where a new one had to be ordered every time. It is the same issue as it started out being, but I'm getting tired of them trying to just throw parts at it to get it fixed...
now the shop that is fixing it says they think its the ring for the key reader... I'm beginning to loose faith in this shop... it seems like they are now just throwing parts at it hoping it will fix the problem...
just test drove it around the block a couple of times, all seems to be ok for this time. no more fuel in oil and coolant level stayed the same, a little more smoke than usual at startup now but that is almost to be expected with the fuel in the cats... but much better that the fog machine it...
after changing out the spark plugs again and reluctantly letting it air out for a few hours and recharging both batteries... she fired up with a lot of smoke from the exhaust because of the fuel dumped into the exhaust system... now to get it running right and hope the rest of the fuel...
