Camshaft phasers
You can pick up a Bluetooth OBD II reader pretty cheap on Amazon/eBay. Just make sure it is compatible with FORscan or what ever app you want to use. Have you check the wiring for the sensor? Total bummer = '10 EL Limited 4x4 is total'd
I was rear-ended a few months ago in my 2011. 4k worth of damage and it was repaired. I found out that, at least from what my adjuster told me, ford has one of the strictest requirements for frame damage. He said 3mm out of shape and they have to replace not adjust it and its 6-8k for a frame...- Fitts07

Timing question
p0345 and p0349 are timing codes for the drivers side cam. P0345 is flagged during startup and P0349 is flagged during running if the little fingers on the phasers are not where the computer expects them to be. Timing question
Its very difficult to see if the timing marks line up accurately without removing the front cover. The phasers are the same either side so they are labeled for both left and right. The chain also only lines up once every like 122 revolutions or something. Are you sure something else may not be...- Fitts07

Insurance adjuster said as long as the frame isnt tweaked we should be good to go. Its getting towed to the body shop in the morning. I deploy this Saturday so ill have to report back on the fuel injector replacement when i get back.- Fitts07

I ordered new bosch injectors. I was leaning towards them too. The trouble is what feels like a stumble or miss doesnt center on a particular cylinder. I get a few on almost every cylinder while driving. It feels like the computer is missing a lot of them.- Fitts07

So i finally found a gauge that doesnt leak. I have 50psi with the key on engine off, it builds instantly when the key is rolled. 55psi running, only varies by 1 or 2 psi either way. I had to do the timing set because of bad tensioners. Had really bad chain rattle on startup. The miss developed in the middle of a 2k mile road trip. Prior to leaving i had changed the plugs (bought from the dealer), air filter and changed the oil. I changed all coils halfway home thinking...- Fitts07

Im having trouble finding a fuel pressure tester that will work. My harbor freight one is a pos that just went in the dumpster. The one i rented from autozone leaked really bad. Anyone have a recommendation?- Fitts07

Yea no serviceable fuel filter on this one. Its a "lifetime" filter in the tank. Which is more like till the end of the warranty. Yea the miss was there before.- Fitts07

Ill check pressure today while driving and see what happens. I checked all the followers, nothing loose or jacked up looking. I did the timing job without pulling any. Engine idles super quiet but a little rough sometimes, all i can hear is the injectors.- Fitts07
