Oil plug quick release
I bought one of those (several years ago) when Fram made one. It had the valve cover and a connecting hose to screw on and let it drain right in the pan.. the downside (aside from leaving oil in the pan As Scottorama mentioned) It took forever to drain the oil.. it was probably a .25 in hole at...- Foghorn

SYNC can check for Wi-Fi update message
If I'm not mistaken, that only has to do with the Sync update and not the on-board Hotspot. When you are home just allow Sync to connect to your home WiFi. This allows Sync to pull updates through your home broadband connection.(Map and software updates for the SYNC system.) Once it has a home...- Foghorn

2018 XLT with small radio options
I happened to see this last night.. https://www.4dtech.com/ Guy did a 4' to 8" swap with Sync3 on an F150... don't know the cost comparison just thought it was a very clean swapout. Depending on the cost, it may be a wash.- Foghorn
