Small bump to this thread... I just gave up after wrestling with my passenger side valve cover on my 2007. It's the wire harness that's holding me up from what I can see... How did you all get enough slack out of the harness to get it out of the way?

2007 XLT with no factory subwoofer or DVD. Installed a Kenwood HU using an XSVI-5520-NAV. Have the headphone icon and sound through headphones but no sound out of the rear speakers.
Put some new tires on her last weekend!
And got my Kenwood installed. Still working out a couple bugs....
No rear speakers, I guess they're amplified? Gotta hook up the blue and white wire. And backup camera just gives me a black screen.
