Just bought a 2010 EL limited. Shudder, help.
All transmissions are sealed. They wouldn't be able to fill them at the factory if they weren't. Just a marketing term.- Frank Wilson

Trainmaster was the OP. Read the threads. TM, I have the ITR socket in the shed, but there are skunks with a vendetta under it. Can I buy you a new expy in exchange for not going out there? I have now problem pulling a boot off my rod, but the plump skunk might be under there with his skunk...- Frank Wilson

2008 Transmission Thump
Did you momentarily lose electrical power? If so, follow the positive cable from the battery . You are looking for damage to the insulation. Rear air suspension deleted question .
When the height sensor hits 3.02 v, the solenoids command air. 2.3 v looks to be the base for the solenoid to dump air. I'd adjust them to 2.5 - 2.6 v- Frank Wilson

Air suspension pump running randomly
The suspension will turn on once you exceed 10 -11 mph even if turned off. At 170k, those springs are no longer holding air. The pump is louder because it is worn out. Air is getting past the worn Teflon piston ring so it runs longer. I'm at 165k , oem compressor sized at 120k. Second compressor...- Frank Wilson

you could contact Arnott and see if they will sell the bypass module separately. The ride height sensors can go bad. With and obd reader and forscan lite on your phone, you can check the resistance values of the sensors to make sure they are at the correct value or need adjusting.- Frank Wilson
