‘98 EB 285/75r17
I had 285's on stock 17's as well, a 3" x 2" level kit from supreme suspensions takes that little rub away, but turning too sharp rubs the sway bar a little. But nothing too serious. Looks good!- GaryA

Mine was a stuck blend door. The actuator would turn but the blend door was broke on the inside. Interested to hear what yours is though- GaryA

Door ajar/side view mirrors inop/set adjust tempermental/back up indicator
I had the same door ajar issue not too long ago, the switches are mounted on the inside of the doors with the latch assembly. Mine was the one on the back window, which i began tapping on the latch ass and the lights flickered. You can unplug each one individually to see if your dome lights go...- GaryA

I know im a little late on this thread but my 01 was doing the same thing mostly at higher speeds. I changed out the power steering pump, i had a little leak there anyway, and the new pump didnt come with the solenoid mounted on the back. It became obsolete. That solenoid triggered an increase...- GaryA

I took the intake off to make sure that it wasn't a blown intake gasket at the rear water jacket, check the other coolant lines, etc. I've heard of some that have fished a coolant line through, not real sure how they cut the rigid line cleanly though. Ive found just doing it the right way the...- GaryA

Frustrated 01 xlt 5.4
Had the exact issue with mine for over a year, changed parts, smoke test, soap test, filter changes, fuel pressure idle and leak down test....ended up being the fuel pump. Held pressure at idle and leak down passed, but from 1500 to 3000 rpm, a major drop in pressure. Never knewof a pump to die...- GaryA

I had a similar leak in that area. Behind the water pump there is a rigid coolant line that passes under the intake and comes up at the rear of the passenger head. Mine had a crack in the rigid line causing a leak from the rear of the engine but very hard to see. I had to remove the intake and...- GaryA

Thanks, looked alot better when the valance was installed but due to a few unexpected run-ins with deer....it had to be removed. I wanted a clean winch set up(with out the huge,heavy bumper). I took a generic winch plate to a machine shop and had in cut and welded to fit in between the frame...- GaryA

Kinda new member....been getting insight on this forum for a little while. But new to posting! Have an 01 Expy 5.4, 3" lift, exhaust, jet programed, 12000 "opps i shouldnt have done that" winch and have replaced or tracked down so many parts with the help of you all....it'll be good to join in...- GaryA
