    Brake controller

Simple queation. I have a 2010 Expedition Limited and I have a factory brake controller from a wrecked expedition. Can I install it and then take it to Ford and have it programmed to recognize it or do I have to go aftermarket? Thanks

    Door lock code

I have a 2010 and I pulled the fuse box/bracket that holds the fuse box in passenger side footwell and it was on the back of there. Hope that helps GG

    2013 Replacment Headlight Recommendation

I’ll try and get one tonight when I’m out and about. I really like mine because I’m a fan of the hard/ice white look. I also replaced my fog lights with some JDM LEDS just so it didn’t look funny. Greg

    2013 Replacment Headlight Recommendation

I put MoriMoto Turbo 2 LEDs in mine. I don’t get flashed by oncoming traffic and when I was following my buddy he said they’re not obnoxious at all. low beams are much better, but there’s not a lot of difference between low and high. I paid 135ish for mine from headlight revolution. Greg

    DIY 3.5 ltr Cat-Back Exhaust

I did the Magnaflow cat back kit and love the way it sounds now. Not obnoxious but definitely has a growl. Kit isn’t cheap but it’s some nice mandrel bent stainless. Almost to pretty to put under the truck. Greg G

    Another oil pan question

I’m this far in and it’s fighting me so challenge accepted. I’ll get it one way or the other

    Another oil pan question

I’m following this but the thing with this video is it’s done on an F150 and there are some differences. Main one I saw was the lower control arms. Will that make a difference as far as letting the diff drop? Don’t know but mine won’t come down enough for me to get the pan dropped in rear enough...

    Another oil pan question

I thought about leaving it in there but I’m way to **** about “extra or missing” nuts, bolts and washers. I’ve seen the damage that lost washer can do. Greg

    Another oil pan question

Yes. There’s a baffle just a few inches behind the front the pan and couldn’t get anything past it. Now that the pan is down I don’t think there is any kind of magnet that could get past it. I’ll post some pics tomorrow when I get it out, one way or the other. Greg

    Another oil pan question

2012 5.4 Limited 4wd. Doing the phazers, tensioners, etc. anyway I dropped the oil pickup tube bolt in the pan so I’m pulling the pan. I’ve got the cross member out, the right side and lower left side diff bolts out but I still don’t have enough room to get the pan out. Do I need to pull the...

Choice of Front Struts for 2007

I’m not worried about unloading the stock springs. I have the tools to do it. I’m wondering about the stock springs. Have they sagged over their life. I don’t want a low rider. I want it back where it was stock. Maybe I’ll just order the springs and buy the struts separately. Greg

Choice of Front Struts for 2007

The tech person told me that the shocks are Gabriel or Monroe and the springs are Eibach. The import kits have KYB struts. The full kit for mine was $579 and shipping was $140. Total was $719 Just curious what folks thought. Greg

Choice of Front Struts for 2007

It looks like people have tried a lot of different brands of springs and struts, has any one used the StrutMasters products? I’ve used them on a Mercedes I had and was very happy with their fir and quality. Greg

I’m sorry. It has 140k miles and the tires are stock size Yokohama. No air ride. And during the summer I tow a 22 ft Ebb Tide boat. Greg

just bought a used 2010 limited and it rides great but really seems to float around more than it should. What is everyone using for replacement strut/spring assemblies? Also not sure if/when these have ever been replaced so I’m just doing some routine maintenance as I go along. Thanks Greg G
