Pulling the radio is easy, the trim piece is pressed in, just gently pry it off. If I remember there are 4 screws holding the radio in. Air Conditioning Quits Blowing Hard at Highway Speeds
The way I am reading this, sounds like a vacuum leak. Fan is still blowing hard (by sound) but volume of air coming out is restricted. Mine does the same thing. 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4 XLT Cylinder 5 Problem
Yes, I had narrowed it down to a bad valve spring. Was contemplating tearing into it when my dad ( who was service Manger for a ford dealer for 35 years) said to try dropping that side of the exhaust and see if it stopped. I put a Jensen double din screen with nav, Bluetooth, back up camera, etc on my 2003 EB for right around $250 including the steering wheel button controller. It is a great upgrade.
