2004 Ford Expedition - Best Recommendations to improve night time driving

May I suggest Hikari led headlights. I have used them in five different vehicles, two Fords, two Lincolns an a Hyundai (not mine thank goodness) and I have yet to have one fail in 3 years and counting. They have multiple options as to the type output and pattern. I've run three types except for...

    LED upgrades

Personally, after trying many LED headlight upgrades I have found Hikari makes the best. I have them in both my Expedition for a year now and in the wife's car for about 18 months. Zero issues ever. Have been using them for about 3 years total in other vehicles. I won't use anything else at this...

Painting interior dash trim 2001 Expy

For the beige dash, as I just did touch-up on mine I used ColorBond (120) Ford Med Dk Parchment LVP Leather, Vinyl & Hard Plastic Refinisher Spray Paint from Amazon. Came out perfect with the matte finish and texture. The 121 color is for the lighter interior color as in side panels and seats.

    Air suspension compressor air dryer

To convert it, most likely no. There are replacement ones however that have 4 ports and include plugs for what is not needed.

99 EB Expy, keeping the 99 Expy going, but used to smaller cars.

Welcome! Don't let all of the extra things you are not used to scare you. They are great vehicles and capable of many, many miles of use. This is a great forum and you can also look into F150online.com for answers as they share many many parts. As you need parts, the local pick n pull will...

Expedition meets Bambi at 55 MPH

GT350, I'm glad that you were not hurt as I agree it could have been worse. But 14K + for repairs? Doesn't surprise me anymore. It's a plain shame what the parts cost is as it doesn't seem labor cost has gone up much in a long time.

    New Parts

Persoannly, if they will be needing replacements soon, as you will already have many of the parts already disconnected, I would go ahead and do it as it won't add too much time to where you would be at. Please use good parts if you are. I prefer doing things one and done.

    2002 EXPED Hood Lamp bulb

I can confirm that would exactly right! I updated to LED and that was amazing. My old eyes are not what they once we're.

    Hello

This a great group so post what's going on and be sure to include your vehicle information, mileage, and anything else that will help.

    Heater issues

If I recall correctly, if it fails it defaults to the AC position. That is where mine usually ended up on my Fords and Lincolns. Not tearing apart the air box but when I moved the door it felt weighed and only gave a path for the cold air, no heat.

    Dead battery

Most likely no as I had fuse would break the circuit and no electricity would flow. Winter is the toughest time on batteries and if there is a bad cell, that is when it will show. If you get it started you can take it to anyone of the parts stores and they can run a test on. Firestone is where I...

1998 Ford Expedition EB 4WD Air Suspension Shocks Front

Good choice. The air suspension can be a pita. I've gotten used to it's nuances. Not always easy and has given me more grey hairs in place of the few brown ones left.

2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition 5.4L no heat (Still searching and reading posts in archives)

No worries and I hope the core change goes easy as heat isn't much of an option if you are anywhere but Florida or south Texas.

Rear bags full inflated. Won't vent. Help!

There will be a rear lift sensor that you can cycle basically. Undo one end, bottom being easier, and gently extend it then compress it. Then reattach. To manually vent you can start the vehicle and do as I noted above and when you are pulling down it should open the solenoids. Be slow and it...

1998 Ford Expedition EB 4WD Air Suspension Shocks Front

Congratulations on retirement! I would also check out Suncore as I have gotten fronts from them before for a Navigator and they worked well with no issues.
