After several rentals, I noticed the transmission of short wheelbase non tow package expeditions generally performed better than my private max with the tow package.
Here are the three things my dealership found on the valve body:
1. The oring seal inside E cluch piston is torn;
2. Scoring in valve body bores;
3. A clutch valve sticking "THER MOST" (thermostat?);
My 2024 had the same symptom, harsh downshift from 5 to 3, sometimes 5 to 4. After dealer replaced the valve body, it behaves better now. However, I feel it comes back occasionally when transmission temp reaches 200F above. Anyway, it is still much better than before. Before the valve body...
Flying Wrenches's youtube video metioned the MSRP of Valve Body was increased sometime early this year. Hopefully it comes with some upgrades too like the new CDF drum and outer shell.

This is obviously an TSB issue. Something is going on hardware level. Software reset can't fix it. I deactivated TCM self learning feature for at least three time so far. Each time, transmission worked even worse than when I kept the self learning feature on. So I just leave it on.

Yes, I am right. lol. I've replaced mine early last year and it's night and day difference for the problem you described. Thank me later. lol
As for the front bar, my personal feeling, you do not have to replace the front unless you like driving violently. Front bar improves the stability when...
