Coolant Leak
Had that same issue on my 2018 platinum. Dealership changed the water pump first. That was a thousand plus dollars. 3 days later temp gauge came back on temp got in the red zone above 250. Took it back to the dealership. Found heater hoses on the right side of the engine were cracked 1300...- Henry48
