How did you pop off the cover to access the button? Did you have to take off the door rear panel?- hoange

This is exactly the same problem I'm having and the fist solution is what I'm doing too. Do you have any info on how to take off the rear panel to get access to the button?- hoange

Name that noise... Whirring from front end
I had a similar problem. Read this thread and did all the things to isolate the issue. It came down to wheel bearing. Took it to the dealer and they fixed the right wheel bearing. It's strange that the whole time the noise was coming from left front side. Anyway, it's now very quiet on my...- hoange

Lift gate button removal for 2010 Expedition Exp
I have a 2019 Expedition and having similar issue. The button works but it gets stuck after pressing it. I have to hit next to the button with my fist and it pops out. Is there any info on how to open the lift gate panel to fix or replace the button? TIA.- hoange
