    So even if that is disabled when I start the vehicle? Ugh. I was hoping there was a fan defective at idle that was supposed to provide the air flow. Has anyone added an auxiliary fan to solve this

    Good morning, We have a 2018 Expy and live in Texas. So, the heat here is significant in the summer. I noticed that when the Expy is at idle, the temp of the air coming out of the AC vent is basically luke warm, certainly not anywhere near cold. Once I start moving, all is well and it blows...

    I agree on the point of impact. Odd thing is that it is behind the mirror, yet the mirror is undamaged. No marks. Going to give Ford a chance to step up to the plate on this one, but I do not have high hopes. Already called Acme Glass.

    I'm sorry but I find no humor in this. It was dangerous and thankfully there was no one sitting in the passenger seat. I posted here only to see if anyone else had experienced this as there are numerous accounts of rear glass suddenly shattering in the older Expys.

    I looked around, was just acres of pastures, not a soul in sight. I had just turned the heater on...but that should not put anyone at risk of being around a window getting blown out like that. God forbid there had been a child sitting there.

    Gotcha. Well I have had something hit a window from the outside on another vehicle, definitely had glass everywhere inside. This is just so weird how it is completely arched outward, much more than normally for the glass. Doesn't show well in the photos. And I never heard anything hit it like...

    I was not home when happened. Was on a 1 lane each way highway headed to Dallas. Was not pellets or gone, nothing in vehicle. No reason why pressure in cabin would suddenly escalate to such an extreme to blow out a window. I was just driving along listening to radio.

    So driving down a 2 lane highway with no other cars around me, suddenly the front passenger blows OUT with a loud noise! Definitely blown outward, not inward like something hit me. Hardly any glass inside, definitive hole where everything radiates from and the remaining glass in bowed outward...
