Real world towing MPG 23 expedition TERRIBLE
I have pulled the same large and fairly tall ~10ft 8k travel trailer with a 17 and our 19. I usually tow at 65-70. I typically see 7-8.5 mpg. I think the 19 tends towards the higher end of the range but not by much. I did get 5mpg in the 17 once towing at 70 but that was with a pretty stout...- jcdeal

Coil and plug recommendations
Definitely check your plugs. I ended up with counterfeit ones. I bought Motorcraft plugs on amazon for my fusion hybrid. 7k miles later I had a misfire. I was swapping coils between cylinders and scratching my head. Checked the plugs and gap had went from 0.05 to 0.08 in those 7k miles...- jcdeal
