    You can find your version number. I can never remember where but I always ding it. Buy the easiest way to tel l is if the home screen has a camera icon on the top left, and if you can change the temperature with the big knob that also controls the volume. Cant answer your other questions...

    Mine damn sure needs it. It has several glitches and the temperature controls are evil to use driving down the road. They obviously got a lot of complaints because they totally change how the temp controls work.
