None of the local parts stores have it in stock, but I found the part number on Rockauto which would have taken a week to get here. Problems with Throttle by Wire
It's a 2008 EL XLT. The pedal has multiple wires so maybe the ones showing the output to the scanner are not the same as the output going to the computer/ETC? I'll look for the pedal sensor and replace it, see what happens. I tried to do a throttle calibration but not sure if that did anything...- joezek

Have this issue where I step on the gas lightly and nothing happens, then at about 1/4 throttle it lunges and takes off. Looking at it on the scan tool, the pedal sensor shows a perfectly smooth transition from 0-100%. The sensor called "R Throttle" whatever that is, shows 8% at idle, will move...- joezek

Cat back Exhaust upgrade
I finally gave up on the CGS muffler after trying to make it sound the way I want for months. I had installed an Auger type resonator inside the pipe but it kept coming loose and rattling. Yeah, the design of the truck intake on the 5.4 engine is all about low RPM torque. Even a bigger TB still won't make much of a difference. I don't have the Gibson system, I waited several months for it even though they took money out of my bank to pay for it- as if it was actually available and for sale. After months, they shipped it a week after I canceled the order. They then made me wait another week for it to get delivered...- joezek

I'm sorry I don't have any pics of the auger installed. I moved it to the inlet side of the muffler now too. Mounted close to the tip I believe was causing a lot of ticking/hissing sounds that I didn't like at idle. It sounded like an exhaust leak. I think that's because there's a hollow pipe...- joezek

Just saw your message from last month....sorry. I bought the auger from Speedway Motors. It was the 3" one. It needed to be filed down a little bit to fit in the exhaust pipe. I recently just rebuilt my engine in the truck. Slightly upgraded the cams and exhaust while it was apart. Today I changed up the intake a little bit. The stock intake was nice and quiet, but the short path from the airbox to the throttle body was full of many J-tubes and other types of noise...- joezek

Just ordered my 5 Star Tune - Any advice?
Just from experience, message the guys (Shawn) at SSi performance and get a tune from them as well. 5 star is weird, they're all talk until 4:45 in the afternoon and then ghost you until next week. They hosed me a while back, but SSi helped me out. Then a few weeks later they helped me again...- joezek

UPDATE: On Monday, they day they said they were closed for Juneteenth, late in the afternoon I received a file with instructions to perform the update and recovery. I tried it and it actually worked. Update on the install: The exhaust system is built really well, excellent bends etc. The biggest problem is that they kind of threw it into a box with the absolute cheapest ******** clamps and hardware possible.
