@Fanatic, the sparkplugs is kinda like a multi-piece (stupid design). The proper way to replace it is at room temp. (engine not running at least 8 hours). @Martin, just google 2006 expedition cam phaser TSB Recall and it should pop out. For what I've heard the ticking is really annoying but could still run without having to fix it. I am getting mine replaced when it's time to replace the timing chain and tensioners, so you could kill 2 birds...- jourdan18

I saw that there is an aftermarket cam phaser on you tube that shows a video with the bad cam phaser noise and after they installed the aftermarket one. The noise completely disappeared! Engine Ticking Noise
No luck! It was the timing chain guides that is worn out so now the chains are a little loose and that's whats making the noise. The kit cost $600.00 and labor is 12 hours total. A mechanic shop quoted me for $2,200.00 Dollars! So I'm just going to trade it in and get a newer rig if the...- jourdan18

need help with window problem
Sounds like it's your main window switch, which is the driver master switch for a ll 4 windows. That switch power is connected to all 4 switches which could affect the other window switches not getting power.- jourdan18

@RCreecer, the sound is constant, parked, stop, driving, and the noise stays the same. I'm getting it checked today. @05Bandit, I think you are right about the cam since the noise is on top of the engine and close to the firewall. I will let everybody updated tonight on what my shop finds...- jourdan18

The sound is consistent on idle or high RPMs. I thought it was an exhaust leak and brought it to the shop and there wasn't any exhaust leak. Any experts on lifters, rockers, timing chain noises?- jourdan18
