    Is my mpg reasonable?

2017 XLT with tow package. Just did a 500+ mile trip and got 20.1 mpg. Most of my driving is mixed and it averages between 17-18 mpg.

The wheel nuts for the Expedition 2015 are not compatible with the wheel wrench

Found this out on my 2017 Expedition the night before the family and I were flying out of town for thanksgiving. It was around 8PM and about 15 degrees outside - Minnesota. My low air pressure light went off, as will happen in the extreme cold) and I was going to ignore it and opt to get home. I...

    Drivers Side Turbo Failing?

2017 Expedition XLT. 107K miles. I had the oil changed a couple weeks ago and since have had two road trips. When I got back this last weekend I got a slight whiff of burning oil smell when I parked in the garage. I didn't see anything at the time, but put a piece of cardboard down under the...

    2017 Expedition Positive Battery Terminal

I swapped out the battery during this process.

    2017 Expedition Positive Battery Terminal

Same issue with the terminals; heavily corroded. I didn't have to replace the terminals (although I did order them). I was certain I would need to replace at least the positive. I used baking soda and water to get most of the surface corrosion removed. Terminals still wouldn't budge from the...

    2015 Expedition engine knocking issue

Started to hear a similar noise about two weeks ago that I initially thought might be from lower octane gas or even bad gas. Then yesterday my radiator fans started to go off at full and stay on. It did just start to heat up over the last week, but the fans would go high speed regardless of AC...

    Random Misfire Detected

No idea when the stuffing came out the turkey. I never heard any suspicious noise leading up to the hard accelerated and the check engine light. Once I slowed down to coasting for 10-15 seconds and the check engine light went off I was able to accelerate again and made it home (1/4 mile). I've...

    Random Misfire Detected

Dealership called and they did end up testing the CATs. Their tests showed that they were operating as they should and there was also no sign of fuel contamination on the coils or plugs. I know that CATs are a sensitive subject as they are expensive and there is limited stock right now. I'll...

    Random Misfire Detected

I have asked if diagnostics can be run on the cats to see if they are damaged. Not sure how far they are willing to go, but never hurts to ask. So if the cats are damaged and either diags don't tell that story or they are not willing to go that far, what, if any, further damage is done running...

    Random Misfire Detected

Didn't think I would be posting an issue so quickly. Bought my 2017 Expedition XLT just 4 days ago. Last night on the way home I accelerated hard overtaking another vehicle, and just as I had passed them and back into my lane, lost power, acceleration stuttered and check engine light started to...

Visor light and homelink stopped working

I have this exact issue. 2017, XLT. Homelink will work only if you swing the visor over to the drivers window. There is also an audible click when you swing the visor back and forth, like there is an internal switch. Seems like a short or faulty switch maybe.

    First time Expedition Owner

Hello, Not new to Fords. Had a 2007 F-150 FX4 Screw. This will be 2nd Ford, a 2017 Expedition XLT. It was between Tahoe and Expedition. To be up front, I wanted the 2014 Tahoe LTZ and my wife wanted the Expedition. Went with the wife's intuition. The Expedition has 85K and exterior and...
